The government of the republic of Burkina Faso under dynamic and visionary leadership of Capy Ibrahim Traore, have sentenced three extremist Islamic preachers to prison for breaking the laws of the country.
The preachers were each sentenced to one year in prison in Burkina Faso for publicly denigrating a National day dedicated to African ancestral traditions (May 15) and for incitement to violence.
The clerics were convicted after describing these ancestral practices as “fetishistic” and demonic in their sermons across the nation.
